Origin: Ariana Grande was born on June 26, 1993, in Boca Raton, Florida, to Edward Butera, a graphic designer, and Joan Grande, a businesswoman and the chief executive officer of Hose-McCann Communications. Ariana is Italian-American, of half Sicilian and half Abruzzese origin. She has an older half-brother, Frankie Grande, who is an actor (starred in “Big Brother 16”)., dancer and producer, She is close with her maternal grandmother, Marjorie Grande and shared a great relationship with her deceased grandfather, Frank Grande. Her parents separated when she was around 8 or 9 years old. As a child, Grande performed with the Fort Lauderdale Children's Theater and she made her national television debut singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" for the Florida Panthers.
Education: She attended Pine Crest School and North Broward Preparatory School, in Boca Raton. In 2008 on the age of 15 she joined the musical 13 on Broadway, and left her high school, but she received all the required study materials from this school and continued to study with home tutors.

In 2008, at the age of 15 she began her career in the Broadway musical 13, when she played the role of Charlotte Grande, for which she won a National Youth Theatre Association Award.

At the age of 15 Grande met American actor Graham Phillips in the cast of the musical 13 in 2008 and dated him until December 2011.
She dated Australian YouTube musician and comedian Jai Brooks from August 2012 to July 2013 and rekindled her relationship with Brooks in May 2014, though they separated again after three months of dating in July 2014 (2012-2013; 2013-2014).
From August 2013 to December 2013 Ariana Grande dated Nathan Sykes. They worked on one of the songs together for Ariana’s album titled “Almost Is Never Enough.”From 2014 to 2015Grande dated her favorite rapper and collaborator Big Sean. Their relationship ended in April 2015 after eight months of dating.
In June 2015 Ariana started dating Mexican her backup dancer Ricky Álvarez. They separated in July 2016.
In August 2016 she started dating rapper Mac Miller.
