Origin: Ariana Grande was born on June 26, 1993, in Boca Raton, Florida, to Edward Butera, a graphic designer, and Joan Grande, a businesswoman and the chief executive officer of Hose-McCann Communications. Ariana is Italian-American, of half Sicilian and half Abruzzese origin. She has an older half-brother, Frankie Grande, who is an actor (starred in “Big Brother 16”)., dancer and producer, She is close with her maternal grandmother, Marjorie Grande and shares a great relationship with her deceased grandfather, Frank Grande. Her parents separated when she was around 8 or 9 years old. As a child, Grande performed with the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theater and she made her national television debut singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” for the Florida Panthers.
