Life:
Origin: Nikolai was born on May 16, 1990 in Perm, where he still lives. His father was an engineer, and his mother was a teacher of sociology.
Education: In school years he was engaged in athletics, football freestyle, basketball. After graduation, he entered the Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU) on the specialty “Economics and Management at the enterprise”. In the fourth year (in 2011), Nikolai fell ill with depression and was forced to take an academic leave.
Career highlights: From 2011 to 2014 he worked in the production center “Ars Nova” as a director of editing, and from 2014 to 2018 he created fan-made trailers for channel “KinoGuru”. From 2017 to the present time he works on the international channel “Teaser PRO”, where he creates new trailers.
Personal life: In 2011 Nikolai was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which he overcame because of his creativity. It was thanks to the illness at the time of the tide of creative forces that in April 2011 Nikolai made his key work – “V for Vendetta” Fan-Made Trailer, which opened the doors to the world of official trailers.
The video was immediately praised by the heads of the trailer houses in Moscow and they offered him the job of creating trailers. A healthy way of life and the need for creativity allows Nikolai to successfully manage the director’s activity today.
In 2016, Nikolai began to write poetry and articles in Wikipedia about famous films and famous filmmakers.
Charity: Since 2015 he is engaged in charity. He edited the video for the charitable foundation “Bereginya” and gives a significant part of his revenue from the videos to the charity fund “Give Life”.
Zest: In 2007, he juggled a soccer ball without a break for more than 1 hour. He claims that he leads a healthy lifestyle. Moreover: never drank alcohol and did not smoke. In many ways, thanks to this, Nikolai has a stable remission from the beginning of 2013.
